AI in plain English - what it means for your people and your business

AI is changing the way we work but for many small businesses, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming.

This practical one-hour workshop cuts through the hype and gives you a clear, plain-English introduction to how AI can be used in everyday business and people management.

We’ll look at where AI can genuinely add value in areas such as recruitment, employee communication, documentation and performance management, as well as where caution and human judgement are still essential. We’ll also explore some of the key risks businesses need to consider, including privacy, bias, accuracy and compliance.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of what AI can - and can’t - do, along with practical ideas for using it responsibly in your workplace.

Presented by Lucie Wallis, an experienced HR practitioner and facilitator. Lucie helps business owners and managers navigate the people challenges of running a workplace and brings a practical, down-to-earth approach, making complex HR and workplace issues easier to understand and apply.

Attendance is complimentary, with this workshop provided by Total HRM as part of NSW Small Business Month. Places are limited to 30, so registration is essential. To secure your place, click the red ‘Register’ button.
